Kidderminster Harriers chairman Mark Serrell today admitted the club could again pay transfer fees for boss Steve Burr's top targets this summer.

Harriers paid four-figure fees for Anthony Malbon and Marvin Johnson in January and a five-figure fee to land Ryan Rowe the following month.

They are looked upon as the firepower that could propel the club into the Football League, if not this season then for the upcoming campaign.

And Serrell, who gave each deal the green light, is ready to shell out for more players if there's funds in the kitty at Aggborough.

He said: "If we haven't got the money, we can't give Steve the money and we need that bit of help to keep the wheels turning.

"It all depends on what happens, I can't say we are flush with money because we are not, as a football club.

"We are looking at the budgets for next season and we do two, one for the Football League and one for this level.

"It's a possibility we could sanction transfer fees again this summer, for a player that Steve wants to bring in.

"I have to say that the three signings look to be an excellent piece of business for this football club.

"Malbon has scored six goals in nine games and I think all three of them have got a very bright future."

Harriers saw their coffers swelled by season ticket sales for this campaign and hope for similar figures in 2012-13.

Last year saw a rise of 268 customers, currently up to 828 adult and junior holders from 560 the season before.

Serrell's target has long been to break through the 1,000 mark and it's a dream the club are not giving up on.

He said: "Those season ticket sales have helped us to invest in the squad this season and I would like to see similar sort of figures.

"Compared to the previous year, that was a massive increase, we didn't break the 1,000 mark but we would love to this time.

"We know it's tough out there, in the current climate, but we have offered great value for money this season.

"We hope that people will back us again, so we can take that next step."

Harriers released their Early Bird season tickets for the next campaign at the end of last month, an offer which runs until May 4.

The top seats in the house remain under £300 and there are added incentives to entice families to Aggborough.

Serrell added: "Our season tickets show, for the terraces and the stand, between a 20 and 25 per cent saving on the matchday prices.

"Under-16s are saving roughly 77 per cent, at £35 per season they are paying £1.52 to come and watch a game.

"It's an opportunity for us to try and get the fans of tomorrow into the ground now."
