Kidderminster Harriers striker Ryan Rowe today admitted he was "relived" after scoring his first goal for the club in Saturday's win over Darlington.
Rowe's deflected effort with a minute to go made it a day to remember after nine games without a goal for the five-figure buy from Stourbridge.
The 23-year-old had only been on the pitch for 76 seconds after coming on as a substitute for Steve Guinan but played his part in the 3-1 victory.
And Rowe believes getting off the mark could lead to him taking the Blue Square Premier by storm over the last six games of the campaign.
He said: "I am relieved to get that first goal. It came at a crucial time because I felt we were under a little bit of pressure.
"It's massive - it can give you the confidence to go on. Hopefully, I can kick on now and get a few more before the end of the season."
