Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Callum Gittings was today passed fit to rejoin the squad for the Blue Square Premier visit of Darlington.

Gittings missed Tuesday's draw at Tamworth and last weekend's 4-1 win at Braintree with an ankle injury but is ready to face the Quakers tomorrow.

The 25-year-old came off towards the end of the 2-1 defeat at AFC Telford 10 days ago, with Jack Byrne and Kyle Storer impressing in his absence.

That could leave Gittings on the bench as Harriers go with an unchanged side, with striker Anthony Malbon also getting over a calf problem.

Malbon soldiered on through Tuesday's game with the injury, picked up the previous Saturday, and boss Steve Burr is keeping an eye on the player.

Burr said: "Anthony has got a slight knock on his calf that he picked up against Braintree and that hindered him against Tamworth.

"It won't make him a doubt and he will be OK, but he has played a lot of football in short space of time.

"We have just got to have a look at him and see how he is, as he's put a lot of effort into the time he has been here.

"We expect him to do that, but it may just have caught up with him over the last couple of weeks.

"I'm sure, by tomorrow, he will be OK."
