Kidderminster Harriers defender Lee Vaughan today admitted he's happy to "win ugly" against Blue Square Premier table-toppers Fleetwood.

Harriers welcome the title-chasing Cod Army tomorrow night looking from the outside in to the play-offs, having been cut four points adrift.

The need for Steve Burr's men to start picking up points is growing, after a turgid run that has seen them win just one of their last seven games.

Their last game, at home to Barrow, saw them trail 2-0 after 25 minutes and, despite a reply six minutes later, they went to lose 2-1 at home.

Now they return to Aggborough for a televised game, which is being screened live on Premier Sports, with the stakes high for both sides.

And right-back Vaughan is happy to "be horrible" to the visitors if it leads Harriers to three points, but also warned there is no room for error.

He said: "We need to cut the silly mistakes out and give ourselves a chance in the first-half. Maybe we could come out and go 2-0 up for a change!

"It's us concentrating on us, we need points on the board and we don't care if Fleetwood win the league or go into the play-offs.

"I would take 1-0 here, being horrible and scoring a last minute winner, anyone would.

"If we want to go from promotion, which we are, it's still all there to take. We have just got to keep plugging away and we will get our just rewards."
