Kidderminster Harriers will hand striker Marvin Johnson a belated debut in the Worcestershire Senior Cup clash against Evesham at Aggborough.

The 21-year-old has yet to play for Harriers two weeks after signing from Romulus but partners Anthony Malbon tonight, who makes his first start.

Johnson was cup-tied for the FA Trophy game with Luton and, with last Saturday's trip to Tamworth called off, is part of a strong Harriers line-up.

Malbon will be hoping to use tonight to push for a start in the Blue Square Premier, alongside midfielder Jack Byrne and James Vincent.

Byrne is back from the knee injury that has kept him out for the last five games, while Vincent has missed six matches with another knee problem.

Defender Michael Briscoe will play in tonight's semi-final, which will determine who meets either Stourbridge or Worcester to take the trophy.

Saturday's home game against Lincoln is a bigger concern for Harriers boss Steve Burr but he hinted that places are still up-for-grabs.

He said: "With not playing the last two Saturdays, it is a big opportunity to get football into some lads who haven't been playing so much.

"It will be a really good exercise and some of the players will have the chance to impress, going into Saturday's game against Lincoln."

Luke Medley has signed for Blue Square South outfit Bromley after his release from Harriers yesterday.
