Kidderminster Harriers could be without seven players for their FA Trophy game against Luton at Aggborough.
Kidderminster Harriers could be without seven players for their FA Trophy game against Luton at Aggborough.
Four players are cup tied while three were today nursing injuries ahead of the all-Blue Square Premier third round tie tomorrow.
New signing Marvin Johnson will be denied his debut, after turning out for Romulus in the competition earlier this season.
Johnson joins midfielder Lee Hendrie, fellow striker Anthony Malbon and goalkeeper Tony Breeden as the cup-tied quartet in the stands.
In the treatment room, defender Tom Sharpe is awaiting a scan to discover the extent of damage to his right knee and is definitely out.
Jack Byrne is still not ready to return from a knee injury, while midfield cohort Callum Gittings was rated 'touch and go 'today.
Gittings picked up a knock to his knee in training this week but right-back Lee Vaughan is fit to return, after four games out with a hamstring strain.
A place in the quarter-finals is up-for-grabs tomorrow and Harriers assistant manager Gary Whild admits there's all to play for.
He said: "The trophy is important to us and it's nice to have a home tie.
"There is the incentive of getting through to the last eight, so it's a big game for both clubs.
"We are going up against a big club in Luton - they have invested again in the transfer window and will be as strong as ever."
Harriers duo Jamille Matt and Mickey Demetriou have been called up to the England C team.
Striker Matt and full-back Demetriou could win their first caps against Italy on February 28 at the Highbury Stadium in Fleetwood.
