Kidderminster Harriers hero Tony Breeden today put his penalty save that preserved the win at York down to "more luck than judgement."

With Harriers 3-1 up last night, Breeden dived low to his right and palmed away Ashley Chambers' spot kick, after Luke Jones had been penalised for hand ball.

York then pulled another goal back three minutes later through David McGurk's deflected 65th minute strike, making Breeden's intervention all the more vital.

Harriers held on to end York's 12 match unbeaten run and move to within spitting distance of the Blue Square Premier play-off places, being kept out of fifth on goal difference.

It was only Breeden's sixth appearance since signing for the club and, by far, his most telling contribution to the team, in a recall after being cup tied for two FA Trophy fixtures.

But the 23-year-old insists the kick going his way was just the break Harriers needed on the night.

He said: "It's more luck than judgement to be fair - pick a side and hope for the best! Luckily it paid off last night, I am just happy with the three points.

"They are a great side, you can see the way they pass it around, so to go there and get three points was brilliant.

"We spoke about it in training and knew that if we got out of the blocks quickly, they wouldn't be able to live with us.

"It showed - I thought we were brilliant in the first 20 or 30 minutes."
