Kidderminster Harriers today came to the last hurdle of their quest to reach the first round of the FA Youth Cup.

Harriers face Matlock at Aggbrough in the third and final qualifying round tonight, after wins over Nuneaton Griff and Stone Dominoes.

And the youth team will avoid the big guns in the first round if they get through, with the draw already made for the next phase.

Brighouse Town or Loughborough Dynamo lie in wait, in what would be Harriers' fourth straight home tie.

The club's academy was only formed in the summer, launched in conjunction with Stourbridge College.
