Hednesford Town start hunt for new manager
Hednesford Town have begun the search for their next manager after the Pitmen’s season was ended because of Covid-19.
Danny Glover, Ben Bailey and Dean Glover are stepping aside after taking charge on an interim basis, but will ‘have a big part to play in the planned future of the club’.
Hednesford announced in a club statement: “After consultations with them it has been concluded that the club will invite written applications for the position of team manager, in order to establish the most suitable candidate to work with the incoming board of directors.
“The team manager will be required to work closely with the board to build a successful team and a sustainable future for the football club.”
At Halesowen Town, meanwhile, midfielder Reece Hewitt has put pen to paper on a new contract for next season.
