Pitmen cruise to cup victory
Hednesford Town breezed through to the next round of the Staffordshire Senior Cup with a comfortable victory over Lichfield City last night.

Two goals from Danny Glover and strikes from Jordan Graham, James Lawrie and Louis Harris secured a 5-0 success over the Midland Football League Division One side and a place in round three.
Graham opened the scoring on 19 minutes when he calmly rounded the keeper and fired home.
It was 2-0 before half-time courtesy of a header from Glover.
The hosts continued to dominate after the break with Harris adding their third.
Lawrie made it four with Glover then netting a fifth from the penalty spot.
Last night’s clash between Rocester and Stafford Rangers fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.
Stafford Town travel to Kidsgrove in the competition tonight, while Chasetown host Stoke City in a repeat of last year’s final when the second round concludes on January 23.
