Hednesford Town battling to get back on track

Hednesford Town will hope to put a disappointing week behind them when they travel to take on Ashton United in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

After being thumped 5-0 at Mickleover Sports last weekend, Rob Smith’s men then fell to a 3-0 loss to Altrincham on Tuesday.

That defeat was their first on home turf this season – with Smith now determined the Pitmen will bounce back at Hurst Cross tomorrow.

Elsewhere in the division, Rushall Olympic will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to three games when they face Warrington Town.

The Pics won at Witton Albion last weekend before then playing out a 1-1 draw with Coalville Town on Tuesday.

Rock-bottom Halesowen – beaten 1-0 at Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday – will aim to pick up only their third win of the campaign so far when they face Workington.

In Evo-Stik League Division One South, Chasetown will bid to close in on the top six when they host Loughborough Dynamo.
