Despite missing Jack Holmes through illness and Richard Gregory and Simeon Cobourne long term, the Yeltz produced a solid display in poor weather conditions.

Jamie Molyneux gave them the lead on 19 minutes with a neat half volley almost from on the ground after Robbie Bunn had twice gone close

Taylor Orosz could have equalised for the visitors on 29 minutes when he found himself one-on-one with Halesowen keeper Brendon Bunn who produced a good block.

Jordan Murphy and Ahmed Ali had chances before the break and the latter saw a shot saved just after following good work from Luke Yates.

But captain Paul McCone headed in at the back post from a Robbie Bunn corner on 65 and the outcome never looked in doubt.

Substitute Dan Westwood could have increased the lead on 77 minutes but his shot flew wide.
