Ashton went close in the 10th minute of an even first half when their captain Josh Granite rose high to head Sam Sheridan's free-kick against the crossbar. Just a minute later, Lee Hughes was put clear on the Ashton goal but shot straight at goalkeeper Dave Carnell.

The Yeltz thought they'd taken a 30th minute lead when Hughes was left all alone to set up Ahmed Ali to slot home, but his effort was ruled out when the referee's assistant pointed out that the earlier throw-in should've been taken by the Robins.

The visitors went close twice more before the interval as Dan Platt made a 36th minute flying save from Sheridan and Daniel Mooney then nipped in to touch the ball past Platt in the 43rd minute, only to see veteran defender Asa Charlton chase back to hook the ball off the goal-line. In first-half injury time, Jordan Goddard's shot was kept out by Carnell.

Platt needed to alert again early in the second half to deny Nic Evangelinos and Dom Smalley also blazed a great chance over the home bar from just ten yards out.

But home substitute Roland Agbor changed the game and caused immediate danger with a 66th minute shot before he put the Yeltz ahead in the 70th minute with a fine ten yard finish at the end of a weaving run.

Late on, Platt made another fine save from Mooney and the visitors had a 90th minute effort disallowed for offside after Platt saved a shot from Evangelinos and Liam Tomsett turned the rebound home.

But Tomsett had the last word when he finally beat Platt with a low shot to level with the final move of the game in the third minute of stoppage time.
