Halesowen Town issued points deduction
Halesowen Town have been deducted four points for fielding an ineligible player – dumping them to the bottom of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division.
The Yeltz admitted fielding Kalern Thomas for three games in September and October while he was still registered with Solihull Morris. The club requested a personal hearing with the Evo-Stik League, and received £600 fine.
The games saw Halesowen collect four points from the matches in which Thomas played – against Workington, Barwell and neighbours Stourbridge – all of which have now been deducted.
Halesowen are considering an appeal.
