There was an early chance for the visitors when Simeon Mate chipped a shot just over and at the other end Matt Sargeant made a comfortable save to keep out Michael Cain's free kick.

As play swung from end to end Joe Hull headed a Tyler Lyttle free kick just wide and Sargeant did well to keep out Dan Webb's close range header.

The only goal of the game came in the thirty fifth minute when Dan Parker played in SIMEON MAYE who kept calm to fire past Michael Johnson.

Early in the second half the home side came close to an equaliser when Sargeant tipped Isaac Galliford's shot past the post for a corner.

From the resultant kick the ball was played to Jack Green who burst into the area but saw his shot rebound off the post and the home side suffered a huge blow when Lewis Ferrell was sent off.

The game was developing into a niggly affair but nine minutes from time Dan Parker had a great chance to wrap the game up but lobbed wide.
