The towering striker was joined on the scoresheet Ryan Croasdale, Joe Ironside and Elton Ngwatala.

All the goals came in the second half to enable Harriers to stretch their unbeaten home record to 16 matches in all competition.

The win lifted Harriers into sixth place in the table.

Boss John Eustace’s promotion hopefuls, who won 2-1 at FC United in August thanks to two Manny Sonupe goals, welcomed back Ngwatala, James McQuilkin, Lee Vaughan and Ironside to the starting line-up. Liam Truslove (knee) and Dan Bradley (calf) were on the casualty list with Fraser Horsfall suspended.

Both sides went close within the opening ten minutes. Firstly, Harriers’ goalkeeper Brandon Hall was called on to make a good save following a powerful 20 yard drive from Connor McCarthy and then at the other end James O’Connor went close with a neat snap shot following a corner by McQuilkin.

Shortly afterwards Hall’s opposite number Lloyd Allinson did well to come off his line and smother a poked shot from Ngwatala following a defence-splitting through ball from Declan Weeks. Within minutes Ngwatala had another chance, but this time his fierce goalbound effort was blocked in front of goal.

McQuilkin also had an on-target shot blocked before firing wide from distance after a Vaughan cross had caused problems for the visitors’ rear-guard.

Harriers took just ten minutes into the second half before they finally broke the deadlock.

Good work by Ngwatala set up the opportunity for Croasdale to knock the ball in at the far post for his fifth goal of the campaign.

Within a minute Vaughan forced Allinson into making an excellent diving save.

Kidderminster, however, made it 2-0 on the hour mark when Weeks and Sonupe combined to enable Ironside to notch his 16th goal of the season.

The visitors went down to ten men on 68 minutes when Zac Corbett was handed a red card for lashing out at McQuilkin who, a couple of minutes later, made way for Harriers’ new on-loan signing Waring from Tranmere Rovers.

The new boy took just six minutes before he opened his account with a bullet header into the top corner leaving Harriers to complete the rout with a 78th minute strike from Ngwatala.
