They are in first qualifying round action at home against Bolehall Swifts, whose management team watched the Queen Street outfit thrash Hereford Lads Club 4-1 in the West Midlands Premier on Wednesday.

The Swifts are not in the same division as Bilston but, being in the Midland League Division One, are also at step six of non-league.

Hamilton said: “We are going into the game in a confident mood as we have won our last two in the league.

“The squad seems to be playing together, working for each other – and that is always good to see.

“Personally, I think the standard is probably a bit better in the Midland League and we know Bolehall are a decent side.

“They watched us on Wednesday so they will be prepared.

“It will be tough, but you never know in the cup.”

Also in the Vase, Wolverhampton Sporting host FC Oswestry Town.

Boss Andy Paddock watched their 2-0 loss Sandbach United in the North West Counties League First Division on Tuesday night.

He said: “I am expecting a hard game. I watched them on Tuesday and they deserved to win comfortably but we’re in good form and want to continue it.”

AFC Wulfrunians, who are managed by former Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Richard Forsyth, head to Lutterworth Athletic.

Tividale and Brocton, who were both knocked out of the FA Cup last weekend, go head-to-head.

In the Midland Premier, Sporting Khalsa will look to make it back-back wins as they go to Bromsgrove Sporting.

The unbeaten Lye Town host Worcester City while Stourport Swifts take on Shepshed Dynamo.

In the West Midlands Premier, Black Country Rangers, who have managed to score five in each of their last two games, face Dudley Sports at home, and Wednesfield play Shifnal Town.
