The Flyers go into the 7.45pm clash with three wins and two draws to their name, their last result being a 1-0 victory over rock-bottom Loughborough University on Saturday.

Dynamo have won four and lost one, and will be buoyant after thrashing Leek Town 6-1 in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Lye boss Martin Thomas said: “We were undefeated in pre-season as well so it is 11 or 12 games now, including a good draw at Stafford Rangers.

“Tonight is going to be very difficult.

“They won big in the cup at the weekend and this league is extremely strong.

“Of course, I am pleased with the start – three wins and two draws.”

He added: “It was a hard-fought win on Saturday, it wasn’t pretty. We’ve got points in the bag, it is a good start for us.”

Also in action tonight are Sporting Khalsa as they head to AFC Wulfrunians.

Khalsa go into the game having lost 3-1 to Coventry Sphinx at the weekend while Wulfs are fresh off a 2-1 triumph against Heanor Town.

Khalsa boss Ian Rowe said: “We are not having much luck at the minute.

“It is really frustrating and I just hope it improves.

“It is a local derby, hopefully we can get a positive result there and start off a good run in the league.”

Stourport Swifts, who were defeated 3-2 at Rugby Town on Saturday, welcome Haughmond to Walshes Meadow.

In Division One, Walsall Wood continued their perfect record at the weekend.

They made it six wins from six, beating Littleton 4-1.

Andrew Westwood opened the scoring for Wood 16 minutes in and Paul Sullivan doubled their lead a couple of moments after.

Sullivan got his second just before halt-time, and completed his hat-trick in the second period before a consolation for the visitors, from the penalty spot.

Heath Hayes were beaten 1-0 at league leaders Studley.

Hayes put in a spirited performance but came away with nothing due to a late strike from the hosts.

Stafford Town lost 2-1 at Coventry Copsewood, and Lichfield City beat Chelmsley Town 1-0.

Meanwhile, in the North West Counties League Division One, Eccleshall drew 2-2 with Chadderton.
