West Brom Under-21s to play at Harriers
West Brom have agreed a deal to play some of their under-21 fixtures at Kidderminster Harriers next season.
The two clubs have an agreement which will see several of the Baggies U21 games staged at Aggborough.
As part of the current regulations, the Under-21s must fulfil at least three fixtures at the Hawthorns and also have the option of playing games at the club's training ground.
The clubs are also looking to agree a pre-season friendly for this summer.
National League side Harriers had played hosts to neighbours Worcester City until the non-league outfit decided to cut ties.
Harriers chief executive, Colin Gordon, added: "We're excited about getting this completed for some time – the people at West Brom are great to deal with and it's an arrangement that will really benefit us.
"The pitch at Aggborough has held up magnificently this season thanks to the work of our own groundsman.
"But, from next season, the wear and tear will be significantly less and we'll be able to tap into some of their expertise in that area as well.
"There is a financial aspect to the deal that suits us as a club but, more importantly, we're looking forward to hosting some exciting games with some of the brightest young talent in the country."
