Report: Tividale 0 Carlton Town 3

Tividale produced a performance lacking the battling qualities needed for a relegation fight as they were swept away by fellow strugglers Carlton Town.

Tivi remain rooted to the foot of the Evo-Stik Division One South table after the capitulation.

On 14 minutes, Carlton took the lead when Tividale's Chris Rabone was unlucky as his attempted interception took a deflection into the path of Daniel Gordon.

He fed the ball through to the lively Romello Nangle, who then rounded goalkeeper Tom Turner and fired into an empty net.

The wheels came off the Tividale wagon within three minutes of the second period.

First, on 49 minutes, a needless free-kick was given away on the edge of the Tividale box and Gordon stepped up and his low shot beat Turner at his near post to make it 2-0.

Three minutes later, full-back Scott Devlin was penalised for a hand ball in the area and Gordon fired into the bottom right hand corner from the spot.
