Hednesford sack boss Bernard McNally

Hednesford Town have sacked manager Bernard McNally after a board meeting at Keys Park to discuss the club's position last night.

Former Albion midfielder McNally was only appointed at Keys Park in September, following Rob Smith and Larry Chambers' return to AFC Telford United.

But he has been unable to inspire the Pitmen during his second spell at the helm. McNally guided them to just three wins in his spell and only one in the National League North.

Hednesford have dropped down to 18th in the league table and sit just one point clear of the drop zone.

They face a crunch period heading into Christmas, including a double date with former boss Smith, who brings his Telford side to Keys Park on Boxing Day,
