Stourbridge stormed into the FA Cup Second Round for only the third time in their history as Karl Hawley's second-half penalty secured a thrilling victory at Dover.
The Glassboys defied the 50 league places separating the two sides to dump the National League promotion chasers out. The home side were reduced to 10 men in the second half.
Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett kept faith with the same starting eleven that swept aside Dover's league rivals Kidderminster Harriers in the previous round.
Just like against Harriers, Stourbridge stunned their opponents by grabbing an early lead on eight minutes.
Brian Smikle powered his way down the hosts' left flank before teeing up winger Chris Lait to drill his 20 yard effort past Dover goalkeeper Mitch Walker.
The goal seemed to spark the subdued hosts into life and Whites came within a whisker of drawing level four minutes later when Ricky Miller fired just wide of Lewis Solly's goal.
The home side continued to crank up the pressure and Miller was guilty of dragging another good opportunity the wrong side of the post from 10 yards.
But the Glassboys' stoic defence was finally breached on 33 minutes as the visitors failed to scramble clear a corner, allowing Aswad Thomas time to pounce and thump the home side level.
Despite being pegged back, Stour continued to make life uncomfortable for Dover with Matt Dodd and Stuart Pierpoint both going close to restoring the visitors' lead.
But Stour were almost silenced four minutes before the break as Dover forward Miller shrugged off his marker before blazing his shot over the bar with only Solly to beat.
Stour began the second half as confidently as they had started the first with Tom Tonks' powerful drive bringing a smart save out of Walker.
Dover were guilty of wasting another good opportunity as Stour were cut open by Jack Parkinson's through ball but Ricky Modeste scuffed his shot wide.
The miss proved costly as the game swung decisively in the visitors favour on 69 minutes.
Wright was shown a second yellow after bringing forward Hawley crashing to the turf in the home side's penalty area.
Hawley brushed himself down before coolly slotting his spot kick past substitute goalkleeper Andy Rafferty.
The home side rang the changes as they tried to drag themselves level, but rarely threatened the visitors who held on comfortably to secure another famous victory.
