The Glassboys have brought in defender Kristian Green and midfielder Thomas Tonks from their fierce rivals.

The duo make the short trip to Amblecote and become the fourth and fifth new additions to boss Gary Hackett's squad. They join Lee Chilton, Charlie Price and Stuart Pierpoint through the door.

Green, 24, signed for John Hill's Yeltz from Gornal in 2013 and has enjoyed two hugely successful seasons at the Grove, totalling 99 appearances.

Versatile star Tonks, 23, can play in central midfield or full in at right-back – he has been with Hales for the same length as Green, clocking up 101 games.

Tonks has previously been at Tipton Town, Stafford Rangers and Brocton.

Halesowen finished 11th in their debut season at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League level, five places and six points ahead of Hackett's side.

The War Memorial Ground side will be glad at securing the signatures of two of the Halesowen players that played a significant part in their defeat in April's 'Number Nine Derby.'
