Stylish Rushall Olympic clinch 4-2 win
Rushall Olympic completed their away Northern League Premier Division programme in fine style when they turned in an excellent performance at Witton Albion.
They took a seventh-minute lead when Christian Dacres won a crunching tackle in midfield, and strode forward before releasing Jamie Spencer, who kept his cool to shoot past the advancing keeper Matt Cooper.
Josh Hancock levelled on 14 minutes and the home side took the lead in the 36th minute when Danny Andrew drilled a shot past Pics keeper Liam Maher.
Five minutes before the break the Pics were back on level terms. Substitute Stan Mugisha won the ball in a challenge with keeper Cooper and from a very wide angle curled a superb shot into the far corner of the net.
Rushall continued to play some fine football and with Mugisha and Spencer causing problems up front they always looked like adding to their tally and on 74 minutes they were back in front when Spencer fired home.
With nine minutes remaining they increased the advantage when Spencer played a short pass inside to Mugisha's path and he fired home a fine shot to round off an excellent Rushall performance.
