Colin Brookes takes new role at Halesowen

Former Halesowen Town chairman Colin Brookes has taken on a role as club president as the Yeltz undergo a restructure.

Brookes, who originally revealed he was retiring from the game this summer, has spent 21 years at the Grove outfit.

Ex-commercial manager Chris Lambert has also moved into the role of chief executive officer.

New committee: Andrew While – secretary; John Slater – finance; Paul Guest – commercial; Dave Hawley – membership; Neil Broughton – stadium; Emma Broughton – events; Steve Lynch – football.

Lambert said: "We have a great team manager and new committee plus fantastic fans. By all pulling together we can progress further up the league."
