Striker Nathan Waite notched his first goal of the season but a late Frickley equaliser meant Halesowen had to settle for their sixth draw in eight league games.

Jean-Michel Gueyes created most of Halesowen's danger, although Frickley forced a series of first-half corners.

Visiting centre-half Jon Cyrus went closest but failed to make a good enough contact with a free header from Bradley Grayson's 42nd-minute corner.

A minute before the interval, a cheeky chip from Aaron Griffiths was clawed away from the top corner by the Frickley goalkeeper Sebastian Malkowski.

But the Yeltz took the lead just three minutes into the second half when Gueyes delivered a dangerous right-wing cross for Waite to head home from close range.

The visitors made a late double substitution and the change paid off just seconds later as substitute Christopher Wood's flick set up Grayson to equalise with a fine 80th-minute low drive.
