Manager Gary Hackett admits Stourbridge cannot afford to take Spennymoor Town lightly in the FA Trophy tomorrow.

The Glassboys will be favourites to advance when the two clubs meet in a third qualifying round tie at the War Memorial Ground.

But though the visitors currently ply their trade in the Evo-Stik One North, one step below the hosts, a glance at their history and form suggests they will be no pushovers.

Having won the FA Vase in 2013, Spennymoor are one of non-league football's fastest-rising clubs and have already stunned Blyth Spartans in the FA Cup this term.

Hackett said: "This is going to be a very tough game. I have managed to get a bit of information on them and know they are a strong team who we will need to be at our best against."

Many eyes outside the club are turned toward next week's FA Cup showdown with Eastleigh, when the Glassboys hope to advance to the third round for the first time.

Hednesford Town also face a tricky test against a team from a division below when they visit Leamington.

The Pitmen and the Brakes have been involved in several memorable games over recent years.

Though the latter were relegated from the National League North last season, they are looking for an instant return and sit second in the Southern League Premier.

Hednesford boss Bernard McNally said: "They are a big club and this a big game for them. We go there knowing we will be in for a battle."
