George Washbourne in Chasetown bow
Chasetown will call upon new signing George Washbourne as they look to match last season's Walsall Senior Cup success.
A fine cup run saw the Scholars go all the way to the final at the Banks's Stadium where they were edged 4-3 after a thriller in front of nearly 500 by the League One Saddlers.
The Scholars travel to the City Ground tonight (7.45pm) in good form, after two consecutive league victories against Carlton Town and Spalding United.
And Dave Stringer's newest acquisition, left-sided midfielder Washbourne, will pose a serious threat to tonight's opposition Lichfield City.
Washbourne, 21, signed from Evesham United but is well known to the Chasetown staff after already appearing against them three times this season.
He has also had a spell at Stourbridge. Lichfield City are currently seventh in the Midland League Division One, with four wins from their last six games.
