Stourbridge 1 Grantham Town 1
Stourbridge will be disappointed to have only drawn 1-1 with Grantham Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League last night.
The Glassboys had the majority of the play, taking the lead and hitting the woodwork three times.
Grantham had only won their first league game of the season on Saturday and looked to be there for the taking.
Stourbridge almost took the lead on only three minutes, when Chris Lait produced a great shot which was just saved by goalkeeper Jake Turner.
Justin Richards' point-blank follow up was also stopped, but he made no mistake three minutes later when he was sent away from a clearance and finished well in the bottom corner.
Dan Scarr hit the bar with a header from a corner on 34 minutes, but Grantham came out for the second half with renewed purpose and Ben Saunders headed the equaliser.
