Boro light on numbers for tough away trip

Neil Kitching's men were dealt a further blow on Wednesday as forward Nick Wellecomme left for Kidsgrove Athletic after the club agreed to accept a seven-day approach.

Kitching said: "We're a bit light. Sam Griffiths is struggling with a knock he had in last weekend's FA Cup game and Peter Till seems to have had a recurrence of a hamstring injury.

"Leon Miles is unavailable and we're without Wellecomme and Dan Cope who have both now left.

"But Stuart McNaught got through 90 minutes in an under-21 game on Wednesday night and we got some minutes from Sam Smith and Fabrice Kasiama."

Chasetown host newly-promoted Basford United where they will look to build on positive Bank Holiday results against Evesham United and Romulus.

Tividale welcome 18th-placed Gresley to the Beeches.
