Halesowen slumped to a third successive defeat going down 3-1 to lowly Stamford claimed their first points of the season.
The Daniels raced into a 16th minute lead when Greg Smith was given space to power home a free header from Jon Challinor's right wing cross.
Cameron Powell doubled Halesowen's agony in the 21st minute by heading home at the far post.
It came after David Bell's free-kick was headed back across goal by captain Richard Jones with the home defence all at sea again.
Stamford continued to look far livelier going forward and created a string of further chances later in the first-half through Ryan Robbins and Greg Smith.
Halesowen Town: Platt; Connolly, Cooper, Denny (c), Hull, Morrison, Charles (Westwood 63), Waldron, Pearson (Collins 75), McGee, Amenku (Griffiths 63).
Greg Pearson squandered a great chance to bring the Yeltz back into the game when his 40th minute penalty was saved by goalkeeper Richard Knight.
It came after Knight clipped the legs of Dean Waldron and Knight kept out the rebound with a superb reflex save.
The Daniels went 3-0 ahead in the 58th minute after a comedy of errors in the Yeltz defence, as Kyle Morrison headed past his goalkeeper.
From David Bell's resulting corner, Powell was left to head home his second goal.
Substitute Aaron Griffiths gave some hope when he drilled home a long range shot from almost 30 yards in the 66th minute for Halesowen's first goal from open play this season.
Seconds later, Lewis Carr came to Stamford's rescue by hooking off the line from new Halesowen striker George McGee. Knight then made good late saves from Isaac Cooper and Pearson.
