Stourbridge hit back twice to win thriller
Stourbridge came from behind twice to claim all three points in a thrilling match at Amblecote against Nantwich Town.
The visitors took the lead after 15 minutes when Glassboys keeper Charlie Price could only punch the ball to Matt Bell, who calmly netted.
But Karl Hawley drew the scores level after 38 minutes when he was first to react to a rebound in the box.
The scores stayed level until four minutes into the second period, when the Cheshire side regained the advantage.
Price tipped a shot over the bar but the resultant corner was only half-cleared and Darren Thornton lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper into the net.
Stourbridge were level almost immediately, when Hawley grabbed his second from the edge of the area.
The Glassboys were then awarded a penalty when Matt Dodd was felled in the area on 59 minutes, and he took the kick himself to make it 3-2.
Nine minutes later, Stourbridge had a two-goal cushion after Kayleden Brown scored, but the home side faced a nervy last few minutes after a Matty Kosylo penalty made it 4-3.
Stourbridge are ninth in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
