The Yeltz, the Evo-Stik Division One South champions, will face-off with the North Division winners Curzon for the Peter Swales Shield – the league's traditional season finale.

And while pride may be the only thing at stake on the pitch, the club are determined fans have a party off it to celebrate promotion back to the third tier of non-league football.

The Grove opens at noon, with fans given the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Division One South trophy. There will also be a team photo on the pitch before the game. Halesowen won the title with a 2-0 win at Belper Town last week and chairman Colin Brookes says it is a wonderful chance to celebrate the triumph on their own ground.

"We are hoping for a big crowd," said Brookes. "After winning the league on Saturday it gives people a chance to come down and see the trophy.

"We are going to try and make it a family day and hopefully there is good weather. It will be nice for the players to have a bit of a send-off. If ever a team deserves it, it's them."

Meanwhile, MIke Burke has been appointed as the new vice-chairman of the Yeltz.

Brookes said: "I was very sorry when previous vice-chair John Russell stood down a few months ago. I would like to place my gratitude and thanks to John Russell for his support to Halesowen Town Football Club.

"It was decided to wait until the end of the season before appointing a new vice-chairman.

"Mike Burke has been a dedicated supporter of Halesowen Town Football Club for many years. His company The Big Pet Store has been the main sponsor for the past few seasons and he is currently a director of the football club."

'His love for the club, hard work and local business connections made Mike an ideal choice and obvious choice for Vice-Charman.'
