Rushall play-off hopes still alive says boss Neil Kitching
Rushall Olympic host AFC Fylde tonight with boss Neil Kitching insisting their play-off hopes are still very much alive.
The Pics are nine points outside the top five of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division with eight games left to play but do have games in hand on some of their rivals.
Kitching says it is all still to play for.
"If you look deep enough into it, teams above us still have to play each other and I'm sure there will be a few twists and turns to come," he said.
"We've made things a bit tougher for ourselves by not beating Blyth on Saturday but people forget they are up there too and are a strong side."
Aside from Dele Adebola, who serves the last game of his suspension, Kitching has a full squad to choose from for the visit of fourth-placed Fylde as Josh Craddock is back available.
The manager wants everyone at the club to remain positive.
"For 15 or 16 teams in this league the season is over and that is not the case for us," said Kitching.
"We are in there fighting and we'll keep fighting until it is mathematically impossible.
"Fylde are perhaps the best team we have faced this season and beat us at their place. So we owe them one."
