Unai Emery 'hungry' to achieve important Aston Villa goal
Unai Emery declared Villa “hungry” to qualify for Europe through the Premier League after Saturday’s crucial win at Brentford kept them firmly in the mix.
Ollie Watkins scored the only goal as Villa recorded a victory which moved them up to seventh in the table, just a point outside the top-five.
The gritty 1-0 victory was just their second away from home in the league since October and their first since September after playing Champions League football in midweek.
Villa now face Club Brugge in the latter competition on Wednesday and do not play in the league again until April.
Emery said: “We have to be really demanding, extremely demanding for the rest of the season.
