After rescuing the club from administration in 2018, the pair have overseen a dramatic transformation and while realising their ultimate dream of taking Villa to the top table of European football won’t be easy, hope has undoubtedly been restored.
Under their ownership, things which once seemed impossible now feel plausible.
Yet now, for the first time, some of the club’s decision-making has become the subject of serious criticism from supporters.
