Aston Villa close in on £35m Pau Torres deal
Villa are closing in on the signing of Pau Torres from Villarreal in a deal believed to be worth around £35million.
The 26-year-old defender is due to undergo a medical in the coming days after agreeing terms on a five-year contract.
He is poised to be reunited with former boss Unai Emery, in what is a significant coup for Villa and another statement of the club’s intent.
