The 22-year-old, who has held talks with Chelsea, will officially move on at the end of the month.

Hampton, a former student at Erasmus Darwin Academy in Burntwood, made 43 appearances in all competitions for Villa last season.

She was an unused substitute when England won Euro 2022 and made her international debut last year.

“Aston Villa Women sincerely thanks Hannah for her time at the club and wishes her well in her next chapter,” read a statement on Villa’s official website.
