Aston Villa ‘face fight in Pau Torres hunt’
Aston Villa could face a fight with Tottenham for the signature of Spain defender Pau Torres, according to reports.
Spain international Torres, who played under Villa boss Unai Emery at Villareal, has been linked with the Premier League rivals who go head-to-head on Saturday in the race for European places. Now reports in Spain suggest the 26-year-old is on the wanted list of both clubs.
The claret and blues have also been linked with interest in Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio, who is out of contract this summer. However, he is thought keen on staying at the Bernabeu.
