Aston Villa are eager to keep John McGinn
Villa are ready to rebuff any approaches for John McGinn this summer.
Liverpool are thought to be monitoring the Scotland international as they seek a midfield replacement for Gigi Wijnaldum.
But Villa have no interest in selling McGinn, who they value at around £50million.
The 26-year-old is contracted at Villa Park until 2025 after signing a new deal last December and remains a big part of Dean Smith’s future plans.
McGinn has made more than 100 league appearances since joining from Hibernian for a fee of £2.75m three years ago.
