Aston Villa trio notch season awards
Aston Villa trio Emiliano Martinez, Matt Targett and Anwar El Ghazi all scooped honours in the club's end of season awards.
The honours were announced ahead and immediately following Villa's 2-1 win over Chelsea, in which fans returned to B6 for the first time in over a year.
Matt Targett was named Players' Player of the Season, whilst Emiliano Martinez won the Supporters' Player of the Award - after he equalled Brad Friedel's clean sheet record in the top flight for the club.
Goal of the Season went to Anwar El Ghazi for his stunning effort in the 3-0 demolition of Crystal Palace at Villa Park.
Meanwhile, Academy Player of the Season went to Carney Chukwuemeka - who followed his debut against Spurs with another senior appearance in the win over Chelsea.
The win capped a superb season for Dean Smith's side, finishing 11th in the top flight whilst amassing 55 points over the campaign.
