Aston Villa boss Dean Smith nominated for manager of the month award
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award for December.
Smith helped guide Villa to an unbeaten month in the top flight, recording two derby day victories along the way, whilst also cruising past Crystal Palace and drawing with Burnley and Chelsea.
He joins Everton's Carlo Ancelotti, Burnley's Sean Dyche and Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the running for the honour.
This is the third time Smith has been nominated for the award this season, although he is yet to win the award.
Fans can submit their vote for the award here, with voting closing on Monday January 11 at 6pm.
Smith joins Anwar El Ghazi and Emiliano Martinez, who were both nominated for the player of the month award.
