Sir Doug Ellis dies: Tributes pour in for former Aston Villa chairman
Tributes are pouring in following the sad news of Sir Doug Ellis passing away.
The 94-year-old was chairman at Aston Villa over two stints, and has a stand named after him at Villa Park.
The news came just hours after Villa announced the appointments of Dean Smith as head coach and John Terry as his assistant.
