Suitors circle Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia
Newcastle and Leeds are eyeing up Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia after boss Steve Bruce admitted he would need to be sold this summer.
Leeds have cooled their interest in Derby Country striker Matej Vydra after baulking at his excessive wage demands.
Newcastle are on the hunt for a striker this summer and are also interested in Albion’s Salomon Rondon, who has a £16.5m release clause.
Kodjia could be available for less, however, because cash-strapped Villa need to sell him to bring in funds.
Fellow Villa striker Ross McCormack is also up for sale, having not travelled to Portugal for pre-season.
