Aston Villa unveil new home and away 2018/19 kit
Aston Villa have revealed their new 2018/19 kit for the upcoming season.
The home kit boasts a 'claret-heavy' striped design similar to the classic 1983-85 strip, whilst the club's new away look offers a nod to Villa's historic 1982 European Cup winning season. The club's new goalkeeper kit is clad in bright green with yellow trim.
Sporting a 're-defined' crest, the club's badge is now rubberised, providing a more defined style, whilst both versions of the kit feature V-neck collars and cuffs which carry 12 stripes to represent the founding members of the Football League, with Villa being one.
A symbol of McGregor’s famous statue outside Villa Park also finds a place on both kits, on the upper back.
Villa have once again secured 32Red as the shirt sponsor, the same company had featured on the Villans' shirts a decade ago.
The kits have been designed by Luke Roper, a lifelong Villa fan, who grew up in Walsall Wood.
Following their move away from UnderArmour, Villa have built a three-way partnership with Luke 1977 and Fanatics to create and supply the new look.

Each version of the shirt is available to pre-order for delivery from 18th July, with adult kits starting from £55.
