Aston Villa duo doubtful for Fulham trip

Albert Adomah and Jack Grealish have both emerged as doubts for Villa ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Fulham.

Top scorer Adomah is being assessed for a hamstring problem, while Grealish has struggled with a calf issue.

Losing either man for the game at Craven Cottage would be a considerable blow for Villa boss Steve Bruce, as his team look to continue the form which has seen them climb to second in the Championship.

Villa have won seven straight in the league and are looking to equal the club’s best postwar winning streak. They could also climb four points clear of rivals Derby with a victory.

But with 15 games still remaining, Bruce is unsurprisingly urging caution.

“We haven’t done anything yet,” said the boss. “We can’t get carried away with a win in the derby. It was great for all Villa fans to win last week (against Birmingham).

“But if we think we’re Real Madrid, we’re not. We haven't achieved anything yet."
