Aston Villa full-back Ritchie De Laet joins Antwerp on loan
Villa full-back Ritchie De Laet has joined Royal Antwerp on loan for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old Belgian completed a return to the club where he made his professional debut on Tuesday.
De Laet missed almost the whole of last season after suffering a serious knee injury in just his third appearances for Villa, following a £2.5million move from Leicester City.
Despite returning to fitness last summer, he has been limited to just nine appearances this term, including only one Championship start.
With Ahmed Elmohamady and Alan Hutton ahead of De Laet in the pecking order, Villa boss Steve Bruce has allowed him to depart for the rest of the campaign.
