Aston Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak to continue playing for Australia

Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak has revealed he has no plans to retire from international football for at least another two years.

The 33-year-old, who is set to line-up for Australia tonight in the first-leg of their World Cup play-off with Honduras, claims he wants to help the Socceroos defend their Asia Cup crown in 2019.

Elsewhere, former Villa boss Remi Garde has returned to management after being named the new boss of MLS outfit Montreal Impact, while ex-Villa keeper Brad Friedel was yesterday named the new head coach of New England Revolution.
