Aston Villa keeper Matija Sarkic joins Wigan on loan
Teenage Villa goalkeeper Matija Sarkic has joined Wigan on a three-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old, the fourth-choice keeper at Villa Park, secured a deadline day switch to the League One Latics until January.
A Montenegro under-23 international, Sarkic is currently on international duty in Kazakhstan and will join up with the Latics next week.
Originally signed from Belgian giants Anderlecht in 2015, the highly-rated keeper signed a new deal at Villa Park in April of this year and has featured in first team squads in the Championship.
