Launching the kit online, Villa have teamed up with Under Armour once again, whilst also confirming Unibet as the club's new sponsor.

The club itself unveiled the shirts online ahead of time, publishing them in their online store before the official launch.

With a classic look, the home strip boasts a collar-less design with a claret body and blue sleeves - with lions embossed on the front and back of the jersey.

Meanwhile, the away kit is reminiscent of several other kits from the club's history - opting for a black style with a claret and blue strip running across the chest.

Designed by Under Armour, both home and away jerseys feature four-way stretch HeatGear fabric, offering improved mobility alongside a moisture transport system, allowing moisture to be wicked away from the body to ensure players stay drier for longer.

Made from lightweight fabric, strategic ventilation is built into the shorts at key points where the body most commonly releases heat allowing for optimum coolness.

The design of the kit is said to take inspiration from surrounding areas of iconic Villa Park.

Both home and away kits are available for pre-order today, and will be delivered on July 29th.

Prices for men's shirts start at £55, with the goalkeeper kit priced slightly higher at £60. Shorts will cost £30 and socks £12.

Luke Organ, Aston Villa's Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We’re excited to launch the new kit for the upcoming season."

Aston Villa's away kit for the 2017/18 season.

"We are always eager, and a little anxious, when it comes to launching new kit but we think the designs this season are very strong and incorporate subtle nods to the past.

"Under Armour have yet again produced great looking kit with a concentration on performance for the players and style for the fans and we can’t wait to get the new season underway.”

Fans are also being offered the chance to be among the first to wear and play in the new kit via an online competition.

Villa have organised a tournament with former players Darius Vassell and Emile Heskey, to take place on Sunday July 9th

Fans who pre-order the new kit before midnight on July 4th will be entered into a draw to play at the event.
